The Alternative Finance Group (AFG) is shaping the future of business financing in South Africa through innovation and strategic partnerships.

Formed through the strategic merger of leading financial specialists, we unite decades of proven expertise in corporate funding, property finance, and working capital solutions under one powerful brand. Since our founding in 2017 and culminating in our 2025 consolidation, we’ve pioneered a new standard - combining the agility of alternative finance with the rigour of institutional lending. Today, we empower businesses to overcome cash flow challenges, secure government contracts, and unlock asset value through solutions that traditional banks can’t match. This is finance transformed: faster, more flexible, and designed for Africa’s dynamic business landscape.
